Erina is a freshwater scientist with a background in tāonga species research, lake and river restoration, resource management and environmental planning. She is experienced in working at the interface between iwi, science and policy. Erina has a strong governance background from Science Challenge, several iwi and not-for-profit trust boards. She is also a member of numerous fisheries and freshwater societies in New Zealand and Australia, and holds a Master of Science (Hons) majoring in Chemistry from the University of Waikato.
