Te Maungaroa
The aim of the project is to develop a hydrological and ecological assessment plan of Te Maungarongo wetland. Te Maungarongo comprises an important part, he taonga tuku iho, of the cultural, ecological, and socio-economic landscape of the hapū of Ngā Uri o Te Kooti Rikirangi. The project aims to integrate ecological enhancement with recreational, fisheries, research and educational values, while providing an important community asset.
