We are inviting expressions of interest to fill a committee member vacancy on Te Mana o Ngā Tuna.

Te Mana o Ngā Tuna is an advisory group of Te Wai Māori Trust that explores ways to improve the overall abundance and distribution of tuna. It is comprised of members who collectively have the experience and skillsets to champion the kaupapa he reo tō te tuna. The primary role of Te Mana o Ngā Tuna is to advocate on behalf of tuna so that they have a voice.

If you have a good understanding of longfin and shortfin tuna, are well versed in tikanga Māori and mātauranga Māori, and have experience working with Māori and in freshwater fisheries management, then we want to hear from you.

We are inviting expressions of interest to join the rōpu as a committee member. Please email any expressions of interest to vanessa.tipoki@waimaori.maori.nz.

Or if you have any pātai, please call Vanessa on 0278931441.
