This project aimed to restore the mana of Ōmaru, a waterway in the heart of the Glen Innes, Auckland.  The funding from the Wai Ora Fund contributed to a three-day hui called “River Talks” held Ruapōtaka Marae in the first half of 2016.  The River Talks was attended by 300 people where 30 people spoke about the environmental damage and neglect of the waterway, social disparity and justice, and issues around colonisation.
